Bongo Roof Wont Go Up

Bongo roof wont go up. If your elevating roof won t go up or won t come back down then it could be a small wire that is meant to be attached to the back of the handbrake lever. Temp till you replace the switch. If your mazda bongo roof is shut but beeps as if open this could be the problem fixed. Roof not open or close. Keep this drain hole and its tube clear check it when you wash your bongo.

Perhaps you need to work out why they are not working. The aft auto free top mazda bongo has a raising roof with a roof tent. As far as i am aware can find out there is no manual way to get the roof to go up. There are two main points on a aft auto free top elevating roof.

With my foot on the brake and the engine running when i operate the switch you can hear the motors operating and the alarm bleeping but the dash warning light is not lit up and the roof does not rise one jot.
